Coffin Shoe Company is a true full service shoe store.

Founded in 1922, Coffin's has a long history of selling traditional brands, such as Alden, Allen Edmonds, Florsheim, Softwalk, Walking Cradles, Bass Weejun, Cole Haan, Magdesians, Terrasoles, Trotters, SAS, Sebago, Merrell, New Balance, Uggs, Tevas, Johnston & Murphy and Taos. As well as top European brands such as Reiker, Mephisto, Josef Seibel, Ecco, MBT, Naot, Born and Clarks.

Park Coffin carries on the tradition of a full service shoe store much like his grandparents did when they founded the store. Jim Coffin let Park work at age 12 as stock boy and janitor. Learning from his father, Park has continued to grow the family business. Many customers remember shopping with the Coffin's when they were on Gay Street and bringing their children to the store when they moved to Bearden Shopping Center in 1958. Those customers are now bringing their grandchildren to Coffin's!

Coffin's is well known for the variety of sizes, women's 4 - 13 and men's 6 - 20, and widths, AAAA - to 6E , and a few children's shoes.

The personalized service that Coffin's is known for is due to the longevity and training of its staff; one of which has been serving on our team since 1982.

Along with shoes, they carry a full line of shoe care products, socks, belts, handbags and other accessories.
